TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms will govern any orders placed with BelPromo and its
affiliates; therefore we encourage you to read these terms prior
to placing your order. By submitting an order to BelPromo, you
(also referred to below as the customer) are hereby agreeing to
all the terms and conditions as set forth below. This agreement
is in lieu of a written consent, and will be binding by the both
the customer and/or their representative(s).
GENERAL
BelPromo specializes in custom screen printing promotional items
such as ceramic coffee mugs, personalized glasses, plastic sports
bottles, stainless steel travel mugs and an assortment of promotional
pens. Belpromo strives to deliver the highest quality as well
as exceptional service at the lowest prices in the market. While
we are committed to meet your every need and expectation, we wish
to inform you of certain limitations that are inherent within
the screen printing industry.
METHODS OF SCREEN PRINTING
We employ two different methods of screen printing: The first
is a "direct print" method*, achieved through the use of a "direct
print" machine. This process is preferred for single-color printing
jobs, due to its accuracy and even application. Most one color
orders undergo this process.* *Note that the printable area on
the direct print machine is relatively "smaller" than the printable
area of the decal printing process. Therefore please ensure that
your logo/artwork will be legible within the specific imprint
area of the item that you are ordering. We will not be responsible
for any claims due to imprint being "smaller" than you thought
or imagined. Imprint size is finite, and the size on your custom
order will be governed by the height and width of you specific
logo/artwork/text. The second method is "Decal Printing*". This
process is sometimes considered more of an art form than a science,
as the resulting imprinted color(s) is unknown until after the
"firing" process. Although the decal printing process is intense
and time consuming, it is the only existing process that enables
us to recreate complex, vibrant and multi-colored permanent images
through the use of CMYK colors. Any job that requires more than
a one color imprint will be produced using the decal method.
*Decal printing also enables us to cover a larger area of the
product. However, the application process is "manual" (as opposed
to "machine"), so there may be some variations with regards to
placement of the decals onto the wares. These slight irregularities
are deemed acceptable within the screen printing industry, and
are not to be considered defective or damaged
HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS
All stainless steel and plastic travel mugs, plastic sports bottles,
as well as some glass products should only be hand washed. It
is not recommended to wash these products in a dishwasher as it
will promote fading (and gradual loss) of the imprint.
CONFIRMATION
Once an order is placed, you will receive four (4) faxes*:
1) An order confirmation/Sales Invoice
2) Credit Card Authorization/Net Term Agreement
3) Paper Proof Request /Denial Form
4) Invoice Agreement
For your convenience, an estimated "delivery date" will also appear
on the order confirmation.
*If you do not receive these faxes within 24 hours, please feel
free to call us directly.
SPAM FILTERS
Check your spam or deleted folders to ensure that these important
emails are not blocked due to firewalls or spam filters on your
computer. *We will not be held responsible for failure of any
email communication to you either due to incorrectly spelled email
addresses, non-working email address or spam filters that prohibit
our emails from reaching you.
PRODUCT QUALITY / WEBSITE IMAGES
Note that the products we carry are intended purely as promotional
items; therefore products that may have minor visual imperfections
should not be considered as defective or flawed items. In the
event a ‘product’ defect is identified, we will replace the order
in its entirety only upon endorsement of the defect by the manufacturer
of the product. Likewise, if an imprint defect is identified,
we will replace that portion of the order only upon confirmation
of the defect.
Due to the nature of the production process, slight variations
and imperfections in ceramic and glass wares are not considered
flaws. Variations in raw materials, glazes, production equipment
and firing temperatures may also result in variations of size,
shape, glaze, color, pock marks, etc. These conditions are within
acceptable industry standards.
From time to time, some products may differ in color, size,
weight, or height, as these are hand-made products that come from
various factories in China. Product colors may differ slightly
what is viewed on the website; therefore we recommend that you
request a ‘random’ sample prior to placing an order, in order
to view the items first hand.
IMPRINT INFORMATION
We will not bear any responsibility for any information lacking
on your PO or on your imprint instructions. In order to correctly
follow your custom imprint instructions, we require that all pertinent
information relating to your 'artwork' or 'logo' be sent TOGETHER
as 'one' upload or in 'one' email. Therefore, if you send your
logo in one email, and the text to be 'included' with the logo
in another later email, we will NOT be responsible for putting
the two together. Do not send us multiple logos or artwork and
assume we will know which one to use. We will not be responsible
for picking the 'incorrect' artwork in this case.
FONTS & IMPRINT COLORS
Imprint colors must be carefully chosen. We recommend that you
choose light color inks to be printed onto dark color items, as
this provides more contrast than a dark colored imprint on a dark
colored item or a light colored imprint on a light colored item.
For example, if you order brown mugs with a brown imprint color,
we would normally alert you that this is not a good choice, as
the imprint would not stand out or even show up against the brown
background. However, many customers have their own pre-conceived
notions about what looks good and what does not. Hence, we will
not make judgment calls on your choices nor will we be responsible
for the choice of imprint color(s) that you make. Therefore we
will require a written statement stating the customers pre conceived
notions to proceed with production.
ADDITIONAL IMPRINT COLORS
Add the per piece, per color running charge of $0.45(g), plus
the additional screen charge of $40.00(g) per color. If the logo
has close registration (colors touch, overlap), there will be
a $0.45(g) per piece, Decal Fee for a one sided imprint or $0.90(g)
per piece, for a wraparound or two sided imprint.
IMPRINT SIZE
Due to "finite" imprint areas, we reserve the right to resize
your logo (imprint instructions) in order to fit it into the imprint
area of the item ordered; regardless of what size you submit your
imprint instructions or logo. However, if you specify that you
want the imprint to be the same size as the submitted artwork/logo,
(providing you request this imprint size on the order form as
well as on the artwork canvas itself) we will comply, providing
it does not exceed the maximum imprint size of the item ordered.
For example, if your logo is 1" x 1" (the size of a quarter),
and you order a one color imprint on 11oz mugs, normally we would
enlarge the logo to the maximum imprint size of that process on
that mug. (In this case 2.75" x 2.75") However, if you request
that we print your logo 3.5" x 3.5", we will be unable to comply
with your request, as that exceeds our maximum imprint size on
that particular mug.
CHANGING THE ORDER
Changes to orders and cancellations must be followed up in writing
by fax. Charges incurred prior to change or cancellation of an
order will be invoiced accordingly. BelPromo will not be responsible
should a duplicate shipment occur due to customer revising a Purchase
Order (P.O.) without referencing original P.O. Electronic purchase
orders are not recommended.
All changes must be made in writing within 24 hours upon receipt
of this confirmation. Failure to do so may result in incorrectly
printed orders or delays in shipping. Once production has already
begun, we will be unable to halt or change the order; therefore
we will not be held responsible for any changes requested once
an order is being processed.
Note: NO CHANGES will be accepted on any 24HR or 3-Day Rush
Orders.
If the order is being shipped via UPS, then once the order is
ready to ship out, you will receive an automated email with a
"tracking number" from UPS.
ARTWORK*
Guidelines for submitting artwork: Requirements:
*Black & White camera ready art
*Four-color process and continuous-tone images with 300 dpi at
actual size.
**All fonts (printer and screen) must be included with your file
or all text should be converted to outlines or curves.
**Software Applications Files saved in any of the following applications
are acceptable: (pc compatible format)
** Photoshop version CS and below
** Freehand version MX and below
** Illustrator version CS and below
**Vector art (eps, ai, fh, 10, cdr, ps,)
**rasterize image, .tif, jpeg 300 dpi,
*Customers will assume complete responsibility to obtain permission
for reproduction of logos, patents, trademarks and copyrights.
By agreeing to print any submitted artwork, Belpromo will not
be held liable under any circumstances.
We reserve the right to place our logo on the bottom of our products.
PAPER PROOF*
Proofing WILL add several days to your production timeline. Therefore
you will receive an emailed/faxed "paper proof" only upon request.
This paper proof enables you to view the imprint, but it will
not depict exact imprint colors nor will it illustrate the exact
imprint size, as it is merely a computer-generated image. Paper-proofs
in black and white are available via fax free of charge (up to
two paper-proofs). Any changes made after the second paper proof
will be charged at $15 net per proof. The proof approval form
must be signed and returned before production begins. Although
every effort will be made to prevent errors, (grammar, spelling
and layout) we will not be responsible for any errors on an order
that was proofed and approved by the customer or customer's representative.
These errors will be corrected at the customer's sole expense.
*If an order has a specific "in hands" date, a proof may delay
production, thus jeopardizing your chances of receiving the order
in a timely manner. We will not be responsible for any resulting
delays on these orders. When no proof is requested, please ensure
that the artwork/logo that you are submitting is completely error
free prior to submitting it to our art department. In the event
an order is printed with incorrectly submitted artwork/logo, Belpromo
will not be held responsible for your oversight, and payment in
full will be valid for the completed work. You may request a redo;
however it will be at your expense.
PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE
Some jobs require a perfect color-match so as to ensure that the
color(s) will be identical. In this event, we recommend that you
opt for a "pre-production sample". This "in hands" sample will
only go to final production upon receipt of your written approval.
Preproduction Samples: $125(g) Preproduction sample charge. Any
revisions or changes to the original instructions for any speculative
samples will incur additional art, screen and sampling charges.
These charges are non refundable. Ship dates will be adjusted
based on the date of sample approval. Slight variance should be
expected between sample proof and actual production due to the
nature of different batching, ink, printing, firing and other
conditions. *Note that the inclusion of a pre-production sample
will add to the turnaround time.
SAMPLES
Random Samples: Most random samples are available at no extra
charge to customers. However, the cost of shipping and handling
will be billed. Random samples will be shipped UPS Ground within
48 hours on most items. If you have a UPS account, please advise
on your PO.
COLOR MATCHING
Ceramic & Glass Colors are stocked in a wide variety of colors.
Exact PMS color matches are not available. We try to match your
color selections as closely as possible using PMS numbers as a
reference only. Due to the nature of ceramic colors, an exact
match cannot be guaranteed. Colors may vary due to firing conditions
and the type of substrate. For example there are many types of
glazes used on ceramic products. The type of glaze used may or
may not have an effect on the final color of the product.
DECALS
If the artwork has close/tight registration (colors touch/overlap),
the imprint of the logo can only be achieved by using a ceramic/glass
decal. Ceramic/Glass decals are carefully hand applied; therefore,
it is impossible to have decals applied in the exact same place
on all the wares. We try our best to have all decals applied perfectly
but due to human inability to perfection, some decals might result
applied a little skewed to the left or to the right. These variations
in hand-applied decals are considered acceptable within the industry.
Ceramic/Glass decals will incur an additional charge of .45(g)
per item.
TYPESETTING FEE
we reserve the right to select an available type font style that
closely matches the desired style; unless otherwise specified
by the customer. Typesetting service is available at $20.00 (g).
WRAPAROUNDS/SECOND SIDE IMPRINTS
Wraparound or second side imprints are available on most ceramic,
glassware and stainless steel tumblers only (stainless steel items
without a handle). Wraparound or second-side imprints in direct
printing incur no extra charge on most items if same color is
used. However, if a wraparound or second-side imprint can only
be achieved by using decal application, or a different set-up
and screen, there will be an additional charge of .90 (g) per
item. Gold or platinum on the second side will also incur an additional
charge of .45 (g) per side.
PRODUCTION TIME*
You have a choice of turnaround timelines. Your choice should
reflect your "in hands" date, and we will do our utmost to stay
within the given time frame. Your "In Hands Date" must be stated
on your PO at the time of placing your order. Please note that
we are not responsible for late receipt of any order due to any
unforeseeable circumstances, for example a lengthier proofing
time, an out-of-stock product, printing or firing problems, weather-related
issues or delays on behalf of the shipping company.
NORMAL PRODUCTION TIME*:
Normal production time is between 10 working days from receipt
of an Order, Artwork and Art approval by BelPromo, Payment and
Paper Proof approval (if one is requested). Additional time will
be required for decal production, more complicated artwork preparation,
color matching and high quantity orders. If you have a specific
"in-hands" date, please ensure that there is enough time before
you opt for a "normal production" timeline. When you request a
pre-production proof or a paper proof, the production time will
only begin upon approval of such proof. Note that all production
times reflect business days.
RUSH PRODUCTION TIME*:
We offer a 24 Hour Rush (production time only) service as well
as a 2-Day Rush (production time only) service as well as a 3-Day
Rush (production time only). *Production time does not include
any shipping time; therefore shipping time must also be added
to production time in order to get an accurate delivery time frame.
SHIPPING
F.O.B. Shipping Point: Miami, Florida. Under the terms of "FOB
shipping point," title of the goods passes to the buyer at the
shipping point.
Please note that opting for Overnight or Second Day Air does not
mean that you will receive your order the next day. Delivery time
is based on the time it takes to produce your item PLUS the shipping
time*.
*Production time + Shipping time = Delivery time
All shipments leaving our factory are inspected and signed for
by the carrier. Most orders are shipped via UPS or motor freight,
depending on the destination and weight of the shipment. All shipments,
unless otherwise specified, will be sent freight prepaid. To ensure
protection against breakage, we repackage UPS shipments into larger
cartons, and all motor freight shipments are palletized and shrink-wrapped.
UPS will not deliver to some APO addresses. We are happy to transport
these orders to a USPS facility for shipment. The rates may differ
from the initial estimate. We therefore reserve the right to collect
any balance of costs due upon shipping. You will receive a UPSP
receipt by airmail as a confirmation of any additional payment
collected.
Once the order has left the warehouse, BelPromo will not accept
responsibility for any delays caused by the shipping company.
If shipping is delayed on an "expedited" shipping order, ONLY
THAT PORTION OF THE SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE CREDITED BACK BY
UPS.
BelPromo will not be held responsible either in the event the
customer is not available for delivery or the customer refuses
delivery.*
If a substantially large order requires inside delivery or a residential
delivery please specify that information when placing the order.
This type of delivery may incur additional charges. Split Shipments:
First location is free; each additional location will have a $7.00(g)
charge.
PICK UPS
Only allowed on orders containing 500 pieces or more. There will
be a packing fee of $3.20 per box on all pick up orders. (For
Example: 576 mugs, 36 mugs per box, a total of 16 boxes. A total
of $51.20 )
RUSH SHIPPING
When requesting "Rush Shipping, please note that we reserve the
right to rush production (based on overtime/weekend hours) in
lieu of using expedited shipping methods, providing that we meet
the delivery date.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Although great precautions are taken during the packaging of each
order, breakage does sometimes occur during the shipping process.
In order to replace any broken and/or damaged products, we now
offer optional shipping insurance. By choosing this option, any
order that is received bearing greater than 10% damage or breakage
is now covered for replacement. Replacement orders will be processed
within our normal timeline of 5-7 business days plus shipping
time. You may opt to pay for rush shipping if required, however
this insurance will only cover normal ground shipping. If you
receive an order that contains less than 10% breakage and/or damage,
we shall be happy to promptly credit your account for that portion.
Please note that we will require adequate proof for any damage
or breakage reported.
Important notice for our International Customers - Including Canada:
For orders shipping outside the U.S. - INCLUDING CANADA - local
duties and/or taxes may be assessed upon delivery. These fees
are not charged by BelPromo during checkout; therefore please
consult your local customs office to determine these charges.
We are not responsible for these duties and/or taxes. Note that
delivery dates are essentially "estimates", and in no event will
BelPromo be liable for any consequential damages arising from
delays in delivery.
LIQUID CAPACITY & QUALITY OF WARES
The size and liquid capacity noted on each of our products* (for
example: 16-oz mug) is only an "approximation" and cannot be construed
as the exact size or capacity. These indications only serve as
generalizations. (Note: We buy all our products blank, therefore
we have no influence over the precise "fill capacity" of each
item)
These products are not deemed acceptable for restaurant use. Slight
variations and tiny imperfections in glassware and ceramics are
not considered flaws. Slight differences in diameter, height,
and other dimensions are also not considered to be flaws.
*These items are therefore offered AS IS.
OVERRUNS & UNDER RUNS
We make every attempt to deliver the exact quantity ordered. However,
due to manufacturing issues, shipments may have an over-run or
an under-run. "Direct Print" orders: 288 pieces or less are subject
to a 10% over-run or under-run. Over 288 pieces are subject to
a 5% over-run or under-run. All "Decal" orders are subject to
a 10% over-run or under-run.
QUALITY OF CERAMICWARE & GLASSWARE
Note that the products we carry are intended purely as promotional
items, therefore products that may have minor visual imperfections

CANCELLATIONS
Due to the "customized" nature of our product, once an order is
in production, it cannot be re-stocked or re-sold. Changes to
orders and cancellations must be followed up in writing by fax.
Charges incurred prior to change or cancellation of an order will
be invoiced accordingly. BelPromo will not be responsible should
a duplicate shipment occur due to customer revising a Purchase
Order (P.O.) without referencing original P.O. Electronic purchase
orders are not recommended. In regards to any cancellations of
an order already prepaid you will be subject to a 10% cancellation
fee. This fee will not be applied to any orders which are cancelled
due to out of stock merchandise. Orders that are cancelled for
any other reasons will be subjected to this fee.
CLAIMS
Please check your order immediately upon receipt. All claims must
be reported to sales@belpromo.com within 15 calendar days upon
receipt of goods. (Example: wrong item, wrong color imprint, a
misprint or missing items) To submit a claim, attach a digital
image to your email, depicting the problem at hand. If unable
to provide a photograph, you may ship us an 'in hands' sample
of the product.
Upon confirmation of the problem, we will promptly reprint the
affected portion of the order and ship it to you via UPS Ground.*
Note that if the quantity to be replaced is LESS than 10% of the
entire order, we reserve the right to process an instant credit
for that amount rather than redoing that portion.
*It is highly recommended that an order is placed well before
any event date, as you will be required to pay any additional
charges on the redo if you opt for rush shipping.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
As you are now aware, custom printed products cannot be restocked.
In fact, the industry standard for customized products dictates
a no return and a no refund policy. Therefore please
note that returns are only accepted with prior written consent
by our customer service staff. Returning an order without such
approval will not guarantee a refund.
REPLACEMENT POLICY
When an error has been determined, (upon following instructions
under "claims") we will make every attempt to promptly redo an
order. We will process the redo order exactly as you had originally
requested minus any errors that were noted. We will ship re-print
orders Ground Delivery Service, unless the customer is willing
to pay for faster Delivery Shipment.
STORE CREDIT
When a redo is no longer practical or even feasible, (either due
to timelines, out-of-stock, or quantity issues) BelPromo will
gladly issue a store credit for up to the same value as the
original order. This store credit is treated as cash, and
may be used at any time and on any product we stock. WEBSITE
Due to fluctuating manufacturer costs, prices may change without
notice.
